The 37 and 38 buses connect Newark, Carlton on Trent, Sutton on Trent and Retford.

East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) maintain a real time bus information service for many buses across the county, which is explained on the Nottinghamshire County Council website. They also provide information to a facility for planning a route through the county and beyond using public transport. This can be accessed via the Traveline website.
